Buckingham Palace, London Tower & London Bridge...

Day 3 in London. We head for Buckingham Palace, it was amazing standing there looking around. I remember seeing so many times, the royals on that famous balcony. The latest one being Kate & Williams Wedding. Turning around looking up the street that was lined with people for as far as the eye could see on tv & now we were standing in front of Buckingham Palace. What a bonus, we heard horses clip clopping, we turned around & what a welcome, a parade of horses coming straight for Buckingham Palace. The head horseman Trumpet playing, the sounds of horse shoes clip clopping on the road it was so majestic!!! Another must do here in London!!!

What a welcome...

We then head off to see London Tower & London Bridge, this was great seeing a real life Castle from the 1200's still standing in all it's glory!!! This place was awesome, seeing the armoury & weapons used back in the day, was sensational. The detail & history tied up here is phenomenal!!! We also made & pressed our own coin at the London Tower. The Crown Jewels are here as well, you all know how i like my bling!!! Boy this was some serious bling, very very pretty. The one funny spooky thing that has happened to us so far & was not planned, is when we decided to stop for a break for tea & coffee, we go into a cafe, sit down & Paul looks out the window & the landmark we came to see is visible through the window from where we are sitting!!! This isn't visible from all windows....

We saw three times today changing of the guard around different parts of London. It was great to watch the precision was perfect.

    1. Hi Lee no Buckingham palace wasn't open, only at peak season it opens. But we are glad we didn't come during peak season as you have to line up for hours to see the things that we have just been able to walk straight in with....
